This was my first wedding at Jonahs and what an amazing location is it on Sydneys Northern Beaches. This was one of those weddings that I booked so long ago and I've been thinking about it for so long I was pretty excited when the day finally arrived. Alex was so organised and everything planned so well in advance but there's just one thing you don't have control over and that's the weather. It was a crazy hot day in December and the temperature was right up in the mid to high 30's. Matt was getting ready at a house nearby overlooking Bilgola beach and for most part of the day they enjoyed the indoor/outdoor flow of the place but when it came to suiting up the fellas definitely struggled in the heat! I think there may have been 2nd showers after I left to head to Alex. Thankfully she was in the bridal room at Jonahs with the air-con pumping. Anyway we were 10 minutes from the ceremony time and the afternoon storm rolled around. We had to move the ceremony inside and credit to Alex and Matt who weren't phased by the change and the ceremony went ahead beautifully. We were still able to go outside after the storm passed and get some great shots in the garden overlooking Whale Beach. Towards the end of the night the dance floor was absolutely going off as the live band played. along side the DJ. Such talented musicians.
